Axfood chooses Key Concept for all Incident management. Installation and implementation will begin as soon as possible.

Axfood conducts food retail and wholesale trade in Sweden. The Group’s retail operations are conducted through the wholly owned Willys, Hemköp and PrisXtra chains, comprising 222 stores in all. Our Emmaboda office is moving

Our local office since 1996 in Emmaboda is moving to Campus Grasvik in Karlskrona. This will increase the cooperation and support synergies with our partner Logica and make it easier to find personnel. The move will be effected April 1 and we are looking forward to this.

Case story from E.ON UK(2007-12-11)

“Since adopting Key Concept in 2006 for Crime and Security Incident handling across E.ON UK, we have been able to quantify the amount of losses experienced to various types of security incident. This has enabled us to challenge and improve security controls in a number of areas of concern, such as burglary, thefts and unathorised access; in fact, in all types of crime experienced by similar organisations.

In our experience, because all E.ON UK staff can now centrally and easily make security and crime reports, we have been able to detect crime that went previously unreported and detected and for the first time, gain a “big picture” across all businesses. This in turn has reduced losses to crime while increasing asset recovery and detection rates. The incidents logged have now built into a significant intelligence resource, which is being used to inform allocation of resources in tackling security management issues and to drive new crime fighting initiatives.  The statistics package is highly configurable, allowing any simple or complex question relating to the reports made or costs incurred to be answered quickly, by combining various data elements. Useful narrative reports are also available.

We chose Key Concept because it offered a logging screen to all staff via the Intranet without heavy licensing costs, which was easily and highly configurable while maintaining absolute confidentiality of all reports to the Security Risk Management team. Also, Key Concept was the one tool that was configurable to our needs by internal administration only, without the need for expensive re-writes by the supplier. A number of alternative tools were considered, but these contained many screens which were not particulary suited to the Corporate Security domain, having come from public law enforcement backgrounds and often had complicated and expensive user licencing arrangements which significantly impacted ‘Return on Investment’ .

8 November Key User Group meeting at Vodafone, Newbury UK

The next Key User Group meeting takes place at Vodafone in Newbury. A comprehensive and interesting programme will be handled including a visit by Memex, specialist within the field of Intelligence Incident management. They will show the advantages of having their system and KEY Concept closely connected to each other.
Ten customers from the Swedish market will attend and from UK Vodafone, E.ON, Memex and DSGIPLC.

September 21 - Big meeting at National Grid UK

Meeting with the fifteen largest energy companies in the UK, where the hot potato was to agree on a common database for "The metal group", due to great losses of Copper in the UK and around Europe. That hot potato was KEY Concept!

Swedish Public Service Broadcaster signs with KEY!(2004-08-27)

Sveriges Television AB (The Swedish public service broadcaster) has today signed an agreement with Omicron Syntax Data and KEY Concept. KEY Concept will first and foremost be used for physical security, and the production areas geographically spread over Sweden. H&M signs contract with KEY!(2004-05-14)

H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB has signed a contract for KEY Concept and belonging services. The first step includes one user license for each country - 26 in total, who will be able to estimate and investigate incoming incidents. In the future, each country will have their own site for security related incidents and measures. We welcome Hennes & Mauritz and are tremendously proud to have them as our customer.

SNRA starts implementation of KEY!(2004-02-17)

Vägverket (Swedish National Road Administration) has together with us, started the project of implementing KEY Concept in its different organisations. An appeal against the purchasing procedure resulted in important delays of the project, but the County Court has now arrived with an answer that the procedure was handled in all fairness and correctness. The project will now continue with full force and the goal is to be in full operation before the summer.

Release of KEY Concept version 2.1!(2004-02-17)

KEY Concept version 2.1 is now released. This version contains the new module of KEY Statistics (see modules), which is built with the latest OLAP technique. KEY Statistics is one of the market’s most advanced statistics tools for incident handling. Other news in version 2.1 is the possibility to attach files when reporting a new incident via the web interface, there are more configuration possibilities for KEY Web Report and several versions of KEY Concept can now run parallel to each other.

Vodafone UK uses KEY!(2004-02-05)

Vodafone UK, with its security headquarters in Newbury, is investing in an implementation of KEY Concept for the entire UK market. Starting with an implementation in Newbury, all stores in the UK will follow.

Svenska Spel invests in KEY!(2003-12-05)

Svenska Spel, who today is exposed to a dire competition from Unibet and other competitors on the gambling market, is now further strengthening its positions by investing in Key Concept. Key Concept will be used by the whole company to, among other things, report on physical security incidents, e.g: burglary, theft, harassments and hacker attacks.

SNRA obtains KEY!(2003-12-03)

The Swedish National Road Administration (SNRA) decides, after a public procurement, to obtain KEY Concept for its venture in risk- and incident reporting. The SNRA will be installing KEY in some 50 different sites in Sweden for the possibility to report and handle incidents that occur at SNRA.

SKANSKA expands use of KEY!(2003-12-02)

Skanska Sweden and Skanska Group Staff Unit IT, are now committing to use KEY Concept for the reporting of incidents. The first country to implement the concept is Sweden, and thereafter the rest of the 60 countries where Skanska is represented, will do the same.
